My senior year at UCLA, I took a 1-unit seminar that met once a week to discuss articles in the Science section of the New York Times. While I originally enrolled in the seminar because I was in need of an extra unit and it sounded much more interesting than most of the other options, I really have grown an appreciation for reading news articles about science and medicine. Recently, I have come across two articles that have left me in awe of how advanced medicine is becoming. So, I thought I would share them with anyone who reads my blog. Enjoy!
